Hope | Early Intermediate Piano Solo

Hope by Catherine Wilson is a level 2 piano solo that is full of joy and positivity with an air of optimism.  The right hand riff-like motifs receive an extra note on each repetition, while the left hand crosses over the right as the chords are transposed between an octave and three octaves higher, to help build excitement and help develop spatial awareness.

Catherine lives in a small rural village in Shropshire, England and has over 25 years experience teaching piano.  Since completing her Master’s Degree specialising in composition, Catherine has chosen to compose in a lyrical minimalist style in order for her pieces to be both educational and relaxing.
