Out at Sea | Early Intermediate Piano Solo

Out at Sea by Catherine Wilson is a level 2 piano solo that is peaceful and dreamlike with a lilting quality.  The lyrical right hand melody has multiple finger swaps to help change hand position while the left hand uses triads that are then played separated out to add to the movement.

Catherine lives in a small rural village in Shropshire, England and has over 25 years experience teaching piano.  Since completing her Master’s Degree specialising in composition, Catherine has chosen to compose in a lyrical minimalist style in order for her pieces to be both educational and relaxing.
