Egg-cellent Piano Games You Can Prep Now For Easter
Posted by Melanie Pascual on
The flowers are starting to bloom and the sun is shining bright which means we are headed towards a new season!
For me, the new season means new music, new music games, and a boost in social media content.
In today’s blog, we are sharing Spring and Easter ideas that you can use within your studio and how these activities can help promote your studio on social media.
With Easter only a few weeks away, I already headed to my local Dollar Store to stock up on teaching supplies for the coming season. These are my 3 favorite things to purchase at the Dollar store and what I use them for:
- Bunny Erasers- These are FANTASTIC for using as game pieces for your piano games, markers on the piano keys, and the kids love taking a bunny home at the end of the lesson.
- Easter Eggs- When it comes to my family, the family egg hunt is a VERY BIG DEAL. On Easter week in the studio, I have an Easter egg hunt for our students. It’s by no means an ordinary egg hunt. Students search the studio for the matching egg parts. The top part of the egg has a note written on the staff, while the bottom part of the egg has the letter written on it.
- Bunny Ear Headbands- My students usually love to wear the headbands while they are hunting for the eggs. I also make sure to snap a few photos of each student during the hunt, that way I can post them on social media! Parents LOVE seeing and sharing photos of their kids online. This is a fantastic way for you to promote your studio!
Easter Games
Georgina has actually created TEN Spring/Easter activities that you can use with your students! They cover note recognition, rhythm, intervals, and more.

Don’t need 10 activities? No worries, Georgina also sells the resources individually and most of the games are only $1.40!
Easter Music
Easter Themed lessons are not complete without playing Easter music. Many of you loved Darren’s St. Patrick’s Day pieces. Be sure to check out his Easter Collection.
“These four new solos are short and fun, each having unique concepts to teach under the umbrella of celebrating and looking forward to Easter!”-Darren
