Camp Town Races

Object of the game: Races your horse and see who wins. Put the winning horse’s name on the trophy

1)      Student chooses a horse for the race by saying it. Click the mouse to the next slide.

2)      Player identifies the horse they chose and starts the race by saying “On your mark. Get set. Go.” Click the mouse once to start the race.

3)      Students observe the order of the horses passing through the finish line. Click the mouse to the next slide

4)      Students identify which horse came in 4^th place. Click the mouse to reveal the 4^th place ribbon.

5)      Students identify which horse came in 3^rd place. Click the mouse to reveal the 3^rd place ribbon. Click two more times for 2^nd and 1^st place. Click the mouse to the next slide.

6)      Students identify the musical note letter names to find out what the winning horse’s name is so it can be engraved on the trophy.

7)      If the student’s horse that they chose did not win, they can have fun giving their horse a name by saying it.
