Dramatic Chromatic Circle of Fifths
LEVEL | Early Intermediate |
PRODUCT TYPE | Digital Download |
While playing this rather crazy but perfectly ordered circle of fifths piece, the performer is encouraged to loudly call out the key change letter names as they occur.
The unusual and surprising ending to this piece is great fun to play because it fits under the fingers so comfortably and naturally and sounds impressive!
Triplet quavers (eighth notes) are played with the right hand, accompanied by three crotchets (quarter notes) per bar (measure) that provide a helpful in-built metronome.
It is definitely a show-off piece that will impress an audience!
The student is invited to draw a circle of fifths chart in the space at the end of their copy of this piece.
