Dreaming Under the Starry Sky

Dreaming Under the Starry Sky will appeal to teens and adults with its dreamy sounds and rich harmonies. Students will be reading 2nds, 3rds, 4ths, and 5ths as they play this piece. It can also be taught largely by rote to an older student who wants to play more mature-sounding pieces than they are able to read. Both hands play mostly in the treble clef. Students will use over five octaves of the keyboard in this very patterned piece. Pedal is used throughout with infrequent changes. Quarter notes are the smallest note value.
