A suite of early elementary pieces, all focused around the food students might find in their lunchbox. The suite begins with a prelude that ends on a dominant 7th chord. Two versions of the prelude are included so that the prelude can be followed smoothly by a piece in either a C pentascale or a G pentascale if the entire suite is not being used. Excellent for students learning through an intervallic method. Pieces only use 2nds and 3rds. Most pieces use a quarter note as the smallest note value, while some pieces have eighth notes in a repetitive pattern to help them learn the pattern. Works well for students using intervallic methods to provide supplemental pieces appropriate from the end of Level 1 through very early Level 2.
