Conquer the overwhelm that music readers sometimes feel when first handed a lead sheet, with this hands-on theory approach to lead sheets.  Empower your classically trained pianists to play with the worship team at church, a local band or music group -- help them explore all the possibilities that music has to offer.   

Each lead sheet is written out in typical lead sheet fashion with melody line and chord names only, but with the addition of a blank bass cleft to use as a worksheet (because my students asked for it, as a temporary learning tool) a place to sketch out your chords and inversions, try a few different patterns and rhythms.  With a little study and practice, every pianist can learn to play from lead sheets.
